Area of Operation: Rotorua / Bay of Plenty. All rivers, streams and tributaries in Te Urewera National Park and Kaingaroa Forest, eg, Rangitaiki, Whirinaki, Horomanga, Whakatane, Ruakituri, Waiou and Whaeo rivers. Mangamako, Waihua & Waikokopu streams. Aniwhenua, Flaxy & Rerewhaakitu lakes plus any Rotorua lakes.

Guides - Graeme & Josh Ryder

Specialty - Back country fly fishing. Nymphs, wet fly & dry fly

Fishing equipment & tackle - Quality fly & spin rods & reels, waders & nets available for those that don't have their own.

Tackle shop - Available on site for licences and terminal tackle.

Group size - One or two anglers preferable.

Transport details - Modern air conditioned 4WD vehicles.

Boat details - SSM registered 18' Ramco, SSM registered 16' 5' jet boat, 17' McKenzie river drift boat

Helicopter - Local business on call for access to remote locations.

Charter duration - Full or half days

Over night camp outs, 2 - 5 days

Lake Aniwhenua Lodge, Modern, clean & comfortable rooms, cabins, power & tent sites and self contained Motel units.- Overlooking Lake Aniwhenua in the Galatea rural valley. Peaceful & casual atmosphere with private lake access. Panoramic views of Te Urewera National Park & Kaingaroa Forest.

You need to bring - Sun block, insect repellent, polaroid glasses, wet weather gear and subdued coloued clothing.
