Learn to Fly Fish Great New Zealand Locations. Our expert teachers and guides, Peter Scott and Kiyoshi Nakagawa provide world class programs that encompass;

Fly Fishing Lessons: Learn how to Nymph, Dry fly, Dry fly/nymph combo, Wet line, Czech nymph, Read the water. After 1-2 lessons you should be able to catch fish wherever you go, the rest of your development is up to you, it is all about practise. The more you practise, the better you will get and the more fish you will catch.

Casting Tuition: Learn to cast or improve your method. Lessons are held in parks around Auckland and open to beginners to advanced anglers.

River Tuition: Reading the water is a skill that is only learnt over time. However with expert guidance you can learn to read water quicker and "fish where the fish are".

Competition Training: Learn all the Secrets, Techniques, Effective flies, Reading the water, time management, How to land the fish. Maximize your chance to win competitions!

Fly Fishing Trips: If you simply want to fish great water and increase your chances of landing fishing then a guided fly fishing trip might be for you. All trip leave from Auckland and cover some great water.

Fly Tying Lessons: Learn how to tie your own flies, learn how the flies are actually behaving in the water, and how to chose the right fly for the conditions. Classes available for beginner, intermediate and advanced fly tiers.

  • Member of Team Japan at the World Championship in Slovakia 2004. 
  • Official fly tyer for the New Zealand national team competing in forthcoming Oceania and World Championships. 
  • Umpqua qualified fly tying instructor
  • Fifth place in the National Championship 2006.
