Specialty:
Double Rum and its skipper Brett Fleetwood and Gary Hull have been fishing around Gulf Harbour for many years. They know all the local spots and with a 42ft boat have the perfect boat  to go to the Moke's ,Great Barrier ,Kawau or further.

Boat Details:
Double Rum is a 42ft Cat with twin 200hp engines the boat cruises at 15 knots, it carries 800litres of fuel and 1000litres  of fresh water. (perfect for hot/cold showers) full electronics and communication tools ensure you are never far from home.

Accommodation:
Double Rum has four double beds and a huge lounge ,two heads, plenty of onboard accommodation.

Fishing Equipment / Tackle:
Full range of fishing equipment is avalible including game fishing gear on request.All this is provided free of charge,this also includes tackle and bait.

Safety Equipment:
Double Rum is in full survey, among the extensive range saftey equipment it carries are epirbs, lifejackets and at the helm is a qualified skipper, a sound boat ensures a safe trip.

Daily Rate:
Rates vary depending on the fishing you want to do. Half Day - $1300 (up to 14 anglers) Full Day - $1900 (up to 14 anglers) Weekend or two nights - $3990 (up to 6 anglers) Game Fishing POA

Trips depart / details:
Trips depart from Gulf Habour or if desired ,pick up from Downtown Auckland costs $250.00 extra.We also pick up from Sandspit ,Half  Moon Bay and Waiheke for the same cost.
 

 

We especially target Snapper & Kingfish.We generally drift fish and use jigs and ledger rigs.We always take a crew member onboard who is available to assist you with your fabulous day onboard Double Rum.
