Fishing Reports

The Store report for June 1-6

Weather has been great with frosts, sunny days, little wind and lot of movement river-wise. The rain that fell last week gave us a little colour and cover for a time and the drop in pressure encouraged a good number of fish to move right throughout the fishery.

Rivers are all in excellent condition with good volume and conditions allowing anglers to fish either wet or dry and with great results. The fish are dotted right throughout the river systems and its been just a matter of fishing to conditions on the day.

River mouths are fishing very well and have fished during the day as well as early morning and night for those that have coped with the cold.

Tauranga Taupo and the smaller mouths have produced some aweseome results for those that have taken the time to fish them over recent weeks. A great indicator for the season ahead.

Lake fishing has been slow for some but fishing shallower has been more successful and in particular for those that have used brighter lures and a fly as a teaser.

Call for an update anytime,

cheers Stella
