Fishing Reports

Good morning, fantastic week and it looks as if its going to be so until the latter part of the week when we have rain in the forecast and maybe enough to make a difference to rivers levels for a time.

Rivers are perfect with still a little colour and plenty of volume, just right at present with some real pressure and also good numbers of fish that are moving as a result of the good conditions.

We have certainly had heaps of rainfall over recent weeks that has been reflected in the river levels, water table and lake levels which all affect the movement of fish into the rivers. There has been lots of pressure angler wise as the fish have begun to move and the rivers have fished. The fishing has been good with good numbers, condition and no lack of water to fish too.

The comments that we are getting from the anglers are that the fish are in better condition that at this time in previous seasons. Much is to do with the cycles of the fishery.

River mouths have been a little slower, other than the smaller streams as the lake level is higher and anglers have concentrated on river fishing. The smaller streams though have good rips and have fished okay.
