Fishing Reports

 

The Snapper have now finished their main spawning run and are now moving into the usual structures. Try fishing in any depth from the beach to the 40 metre mark where there is a great chance to catch a big one. I don't think I have weighed so many 9 kg plus snapper in all my years as a weigh master. On the marlin front all I can say is don't go past the front door. Up and down the West coast reports are that the fish are in close. Sightings have been made off Jackson's Reef and 23.
