Fishing Reports

Hi everyone

We went out on Saturday the 9th October - quite a rough day out there. Headed out towards Coromandel at 10am with no real sightings of birds or dolphins initially, however it got to about 12pm and we had 8 snapper in the bin which was a good start but we were looking for a bit more action than that!. As it was a bit lumpy, I headed for sheltered water and on the journey we came across across hundreds of birds working the surface about 6 miles north of Tiri.

By 3 we had a good haul snapper in the bin with our biggest being about 7kg . So all in all a great but tiring day.
