Fishing Reports

   Hi all, another quick up-date from us as we were out late yesterday and again this morning running a couple of 4hr Snapper Charters around Kawau Island.

With a lot of perseverence a decent ammount of Pan sized Snapper were landed on board "Playin Hooky",  but even as a Charter Operator I have to addmit it was hard work.

 The burley bomb certainly did it's job, and fishing in the shallows over the reefs without one would be a big mistake at the moment. As soon as we attracted the bait fish the Snapper and a school of med size Kawhai appeared which are always a bit of fun. 

Its going to get better and better over the next couple of weeks so if you havn't already get your boats out from under the Winter covers, visit your local Fishing tackle shop and most importantly get your motor serviced.
