Fishing Reports

Finally , 10 days straight of superb weather.It makes all the difference.

We have just started to land numerous kingis and the snapper fishing under the gannets is fantastic.

Since November we have been using pilchards on our ledger rigs and only just now starting to get hammered more on squid. Our favourite is the squid /pilchard combination at this time.

Baits are currently proving to be more effective than soft bait, but much more mess.

We have had several sessions at Simpsons Rock. Lots of hapuka and some great trevally caught.
