Fishing Reports

Great weather up here and the fishing is good. Marlin are around in good numbers and plenty being caught..

The kings are closer in with some good ones being caught on the sand off Taupo and Tauranga bays. Speed jigging in the deep is producing the larger ones, but still a lot of rats around.

The snapper are on the bite with 60 to 70m producing the best sized fish and it's good to see that the  barracouta have moved on.

Some excellent sized hapuku have been caught in the deeper water and they seem to about in good numbers.

All in all the fishing has been, and still is, pretty consistent.
