Fishing Reports

First yellow fin weighed in  the other day. More marlin been sighted in close (80m) and plenty of saury around in the same depth. We have caught skipjack tuna in 30m, also we are getting good kings on speed jigs and live baits, with hapuku, good snapper 6kg+ and john dory as a bycatch all in deeper water.

Still some hapuku in shallow (40m) water, snapper are a bit patchy at the moment but should pick up again soon. Barracouta are still around but make good bait for puka and snapper,

Plenty of live bait in the harbour.
