Did a broadbill shot on the Garden Patch last Friday night and had one bite to an unidentified visitor and that was our lot.
Water temp 18deg plus plenty of bird life, dolphins feeding and saury. Towed plastic there and back and we managed to catch a few albacore. We caught some good blue nose and hapuku on the pins at the Garden patch and had a number of rat kings on the pins off Bergans along with "couta"on the way back.
There are still good snapper and tarakihi on the sand out of Whangaroa.
