Fishing Reports

Hi all well we have returned back to Gulf Harbour after another great season on the bluefin tuna out of Westport.

The weather was agains't us most of the time but the fishing was great. Despite the lack of trawlers we managed to get some nice fish and reduced the fight times down to an average of 1hr getting some in in only 1/2 an hr

The average fish was around 260kg with a couple up around the 300kg mark

Now it's back to do some snapper fishing around the Great Barrier Mokes and the inner Gulf .

Looking forward to the game season up north and hopefully it will be a good one.
