Dive Marlborough Sounds

Hi Divers, well Queens B'day has come and gone and we had some great weather around the Sounds.

Tory channel entrance was our spot on Sunday and there was plenty around. Crays were caught but you had to have a look at most to make sure they didn't have eggs. Plenty of moki and terakihi and some of the guys picked up kina for their mates. They are still in yellow roe and tasty.

Waters still warm at 13 degrees and vis wasn't too bad at about 5 metres.

Remember scallop season is now only about 6 weeks away so if you haven't used your gear for a while, better get it serviced.

And when you are out diving, don't forget to fly the flag and have your safety sausage/smb, maybe a dive alert.

Be safe out there.

Kevin
