We are nearly at the end of he gamefishing season, but there are still a few out there, they just take a bit longer to find now.
We had a great 7 day trip to the 3 Kings last week. We managed to get a bit of everything on this trip. Quite a few bass out there with our biggest weighing in at 60kg.
We also scored a good broadbill one night that we tagged at an estimated 170kg and had another shot.
We also had numerous shots at marlin and tagged two estimated at 90kg and 110kg. Marlin were hard to hook as they weren't biting very well and were dog boning the live baits. Kingie fishing was great on light tackle especially 6kg and 8kg line. We released 6 over 22kg on 6kg line and released another 7 on 8kg around about the same weight so there were plenty of them around.
We still have some space left for the end of May, which is a good time for some sword fishing if anyone is keen. There are a few swords on the coast as well.
Cheers for now, catch you next time. Tight lines.
