Fishing Reports

Goiod morning, well most anglers are not actually thinking too much about fishing at this time of the year with holidays and christmas not too far away at this stage, scarey!

We have had a fairly damp and wet few days, in fact we needed some rain desperately, and we got it lots in the latter part of last week. We have continue to have some skiffy rain and over cast conditions for the most of this week with the indications that the weather is due to improve from the weekend coming, lets hope so for the holiday makers!

Fishing has continued to be really quite spectacular with the most up to the angler to read the conditions and fish to them. We certainly enjoyed some rain at the end of the week that saw the rivers rise and then drop away again. The rain though that we have had since has stimulated a few fresh fish into the fishery as a result and we have been able to fish wet, nymph and dry quite successfully as a result.

The pressure is often off the fishery as a whole at this time of the year, but the opportunities are huge.

Lake fishing is coming into its own with fish moving and quite a lot of surface activity as a result. 

Lake O is one again an opportunity waiting to be taken, with fish moving into the shallows and lots of surface activity born about by the warmer weather.
