Fishing ReportsThe Store report for Nov 29-3rd DecGood morning, well winter is back and if I put any more clothes on I wont fit through the door. It is so cold this morning its hard to believe after what we have had over recent weeks, but that tells a story and we mustnt be grumpy as at least the suns out. We had almost a frost this morning right down to - gound temperatures wyhich is often the cast on occassion at this time of the year, great for the Tomatoes! Rivers are in desperate need of some water and we may get a sprinkle maybe tomorrow with some rain and heavy in places for a time, but time will tell as often what is forecast and what happens are completly different. We could certainbly do with some rain that would freshen and encourage a flurry of activity I am sure. The cooler temperatures have encourage a small biut of movement in the rivers over the past couple of days but unless you have been on the water you would have missed the action. The fish that have moved have been fresh and in good condition, still smaller though. Hopefully the air temperatures will improve and we will be back where we were a few days ago with fish all very happy to take a dry off the surface. Wind has been a bit of a pain but is forecast to ease and with a little cloud and maybe the rain over the next day, the sunshine will return over the weekend and its the first weekend without some major event in Taupo for a while. Maybe a good time to head away for a flick somewhere! Lake fishing is begining to take shape with smelt appearing around the lake edges being chased by the Shags, they are the beacons that indicate where the smelt are at times. Have fun and feel free to call us anytime cheers stella 073868953 From
