Fishing ReportsThe Store report for 17-20thGood morning, well what a weekend, some sunshine and a little bit of rainfall that turned into quite a lot of rainfall as the weekend progresses, filling our rivers for a time and in turn allowing us for a change some excellent fishing as a result. Rivers have been low and clear and will proberly return that way quite quickly but for a time the rain fell and the rivers lovingly received some volume and in return gave us some cover to allow a reasonable run of fish to make there way into all the rivers. We have noticable increase in numbers of anglers on the water taking advantage of the fishing and the cover afforded buy the rainfall. All rivers have a little additional water and will hold for a moment or two, clearing quite quickly and dropping away by later tuesday i would imagine. There though is further rainfall in the forecasts and we may have further rainfall towards the end of the week which will mean that the fishing by rights should remain quite consistant! Cant wait to get out onto the water myself! With the rain from sunday easing the earlier part of the week has dawned rather nicely with warmth and no rain, so if your able to get onto the water or the skis, i would do it sooner rather than later. We have rain in the forecast over the next few days but that may be skiffy rain that comes and goes with cloud and sunshine, so make the most of the conditions, while you can. A good deal of anglers enjoyed some really good weekend fishing with a number of fish moving in the Tongariro on saturday and again yesterday as the run off provided the cover that we all wanted. All the other tributaires have fished well and will do so while they still have colour. Feel free to call for an update or accomm anytime pete and stella 073868953 From
