Fishing Reports

Well we were lucky enough to enjoy a good weekend with fine weather and a little bit of wind that really didnt interupt any of our weekend activities.

We had forecast lots of rain that was due to fall late on sunday and then clear as the week proceeded, but at this stage the weather has gone down the east coast and as a result we have had a few spots but thats really all at this stage. We are in need of a bit of rain with the rivers all very low and clear at present.

For most the conditions are great and we enjoy the challenge, but in reality the rivers certainly do need a deludge to wash those fish that have been wallowing about for a time throughout the fishery.

Those that have fished the drop offs, lifts and fast water have found that there are lots of fish some in good and others lesser condition, many are smaller in size but there have been a few fish that have trickled through that are a little larger.

River mouths have had little pressure if any but they are still producing fish, both early and later. The lake levels have come up significantly over recent days, but may quickly fall as we miss out on rain.
