Hi Divers, well not bad diving for Queens Birthday, the east coast was good, waihi Point was said to have quite a few crays around.

Now even more in berry so watch out for that, have a look before putting in your bag !

The new type surface marker buoys are working well. These ones stay blown up and also have an overpressure valve on them. Have them attached to a line and you let them up and the boat can see where you are especially if you are drifting, great !

A must for Cook Strait divers along with the 'dive alert'.

Those that haven't dived for a while, scallops are getting closer, get that gear serviced.
