Fishing Reports

Hi Divers, scallops have ended, what a great season, plenty around and pretty good right up to the last day !

However opening day is only 5 months away and that will zoom by. 15th July.

The crays are getting more plentiful with summer upon us. Lots in the Port area and plenty up the rest of the coast line.

Also lots of good moki, butters and cod for the spearos.

Remember to watch the weather and for the scuba guys that dive any of the Cook Strait area, a surface marker buoy (SMB) is a great idea to have (with a line of course). It marks your spot when you have to do a bit of a drift underwater. Makes the boatpersons job far easier.
