Fishing Reports

A strong southerly put paid to any fishing at O/Beach with big swells,weed ,rain and wind to contend with.But even under those conditions four members turned out to give it a try.

And our Mr. Lemon (Jim Livingston) still managed to catch two Lemons in the boiling surf ! One of 3.5kg and a smaller one which was released. There's no substitute for experience and determination, well done Jim.

Sunday was not a lot better, but Mal and Bev gave it a go and after 4.5hrs of battleing the conditions ended up with a small Red Cod...............Wind,Rain,Snow on the Rimutakas and Tararuas where's SUMMER!
