Fishing Reports

Conditions were not too bad for members who ventured out, areas fished were from Ocean Beach ,Pal. Bay through to Castlepoint Reef.  A swell of about 1mtr and coloured water were the conditions that were fished in.

 Three members were fishing with 6kg line as a start in their quest for an NZACA MASTERS AWARD, and at 4am Carl played out a  Spotted Smooth Hound of 7.560kg which well and truely gained the points necessary. Well done Carl. The rest of us had to be satisfied with Red Cod, Spineys,Conger Eel, Gurnard and Kahawai. Cheers.....Mal
