Fishing Reports

Good morning, well we have a glorious day today with dark sides to the fringes that may indicate that we are going to get some further rain and its certainly is indicated that we are in the forecast.

We have had a lot of rain on the plains over sunday and today it has dawned like a summers day with hot sun and absolutely no wind.

The rain that fell sunday has fallen mainly on the flats and very little in the catchment as such, though the weather forecast for the next few days indicates that there is a very deep low that is going to bring us some rain over the next few days.

The tributaries are all in excellent condition with a little extra rainfall and run off providing a bit of colour and a smiggin of extra volume though it may quickly ease.

For those of you who are able to get onto the water over the next day or so you should enjoy some good fishing, with the cover allowing fish to move into the rivers happily.

Generally there is little pressure at this time of the year and its a nice time to take time to fish through, tracks have been cut and there is no need to battle with the bracken and the blackberries!

River mouths have been on and off with some fishing beter than others, timing, with indicators that over the next few days the conditions will allow some productive fishing should you fish to the conditions.
