Fishing Reports

On the Sat; there was a good turnout for the (Lions) Comp which was incorporated in the clubs two day event, and it was good to see a healthy turnout of members giving it their all. It was a pity the fish didn't come to the party, the first 2hrs were the best of the day, and that wasn't anything to write home about! Mal caught a Conger at 6min past start time and threw it back because they don't count in the Comp, he forgot it was worth about 140 points in club points though! (brains at half mast)

However Jim landed a 2.9kg spotty shark and got a prize, and Jnrs, Dean and Laurance also received prizes. on the Sunday only three Red Cod were submitted for weigh in. The two highlights on the Sat were the fire that could have taken out the Pub if the wind had been in the other direction,and the other was the winning of the quad bike by Tim Henley(Team Pete Lamb) who also won heaviest fish and spot prizes as well! Well done Timbo.
