Fishing ReportsDiving New Zealands Marlborough Sounds and Mikhail LermontovHi Divers, hope you have all got over Xmas and new Year. Personally, I haven't done much diving over this period as we have been busy as in the shop! So hopefully I'll be able to remedy that shortly. News is that the scallops are still very plentiful, just with the odd one going off due to spatting. Coming up to the end of the season so thats normal. Still plenty of crays about, however watch out for the odd soft one. Hasn't been much on for the Mikhail Lermontov this last week due to these howling norwesters. Hopefully they ease off and we can get out there. Remember your safe diving practices, be careful out there. This is the time of year when something may sneak up on you. Make sure your life support system, reg etc is capable of doing what you demand of it, watch your gauges and when was the last time you checked your own health out ? Doesn't take much to get out of breath down there and then the stress really builds up ! Take care Kevin From
