Fishing Reports

Fishing is generally a bit slow around the BOP but still the occasional good fish is being weighed in. Last week a couple of good snapper came in to Mercury Bay ,12.7kg on R&R Charters ,Well done Rod Goodlet. Another one, at 11kg was also weighed in.

Anticpation is rife at the Mercury Bay Gamefishing Club, everyone waiting on the weather to settle so as to get out wide and to have a crack at the first marlin .Its going to be interesting to see what sort of season we are going to have.

Also very interesting is the amount of new boats showing in the marina ,some of course are tradeups which tells us some of our guys are getting pretty serious with this gamefishing lark.
