Fishing Reports

Water temp. still down but is on the rise.

Reports of 10 snapper weight in at Pana Surfcasting Club over the weekend.

Whitebait ran on Sunday  with some good catchers.

With the North Easterly over the last few days, this has not been good for the females crayfish, as they have drop their berries and a lot of baby crayfish were washed up on the Beach over the weekend, this has been good for the bird life, not to mension the bottom feeding fish.

Report came in on Sunday that a good size mullet was taken on a surfcasting line in the river mouth?  One or two good size kahawai also taken in the mouth.

Reports of the tarakihi again taking the Silstar Jigs on the boating seen, and leaving the rest.
