Fishing Reports
9 November Trip on "SHAMROCK" Out of Parakai
Another early start - 4:30 a.m. and a little 'kip' on the way up to the 'Graveyard"
Fishing was slow, and the boat was moving about a bit for the 9 Fishos aboard.
The day got a little better as it went on and we eventually caught a few worth taking home.
Sandy topped the scales with a 16.25kg Bronze Whaler Shark, followed by Bruce and Wayne fighting over the best fish of the day - a 7kg Kingfish.
Alice was brought aboard, well hooked in the top lip, (though she never actually left the boat).
All told, 75 fish came aboard including 33 Snapper, 21 Kahawai and one or two nice Trevally.
Skipper Rod's assistance with the Medevac was typical of his brilliant service.
Thanks again Rod.
Next Trip out of Whangaparaoa on 7 Dec.
