With time running out leading up to the day of over indulgence, had the call from the whanau for some kai moana for the Christmas table. Isaac joined me on a mish to do just that - we had a plan. Met up with Torcea for a crack at a kingi or two. Lots of colour in the water due to recent rain but good sign. Was a bit slow, Reece scored a nice 20kg fish but we blaked. Man that new Kojak 300 looks cool bent, it did the dammage m8.

Decided to pull the plug and hit the 20k mark out wide for a turkey shoot. Took about an hour and a half to fill the bin with XOS turks, double headers often.

Had this guy join us for a while, insisted on comming aboard several times. Never seen such a friendly albatross, really cool. Just concerned at his interest in my sea anchor and PVC pontoons, check out the beak on it.

We had enough so figured that with a couple of hours b4 dead low we should give the kingies another crack. Met up with Matt Nolan and a very happy bunch of fishos on arrival at the local. The next half an hour was total mayhem, mulitple double hookups, just bloody excellent. Nothing huge but what fun. Isaac had ablast, check out the face, feelin the pain !

Objective achieved, will be a big yum tum Christmas day. On that note have a happy and safe one over the break, regards to all from Kapiti.
