Right so its been a long time coming but I'm ready to do my first overnight trip at the mokau trench in my boat leaving from Raglan so slightly anxious yet very excited at the same time.
Short of asking for GPS marks ( PM me if your willing to share Big smile ) what are the general depths that blue nose and hapuka will be hanging out in at this time of the year???. I'm going into an area totally unknown to me so going in blind really and any clues be much appreciated. Cheers

Mokau. Heard nothing on the radio all night. Well done on your sword. Got some nice puka and bluenose around 25kg and a pack attack of stripeys. Boated 1 and busted another off.
