Can you purchase these timers in NZ? Looks like a great asset for the livebait system on my boat too?

I couldn't find them anywhere, but it was pretty easy to import. It does work well, had it running for 6 hours last week and battery started sweet, and it kept 20 jacks alive easy. Just flick the switch and forget it

Sweet. Got the itchy bug and ordered online. Cost $85 USD and expect it here in 10-15 days. Looks a little dearer to what you paid though Brent. Still cheap insurance for your batteries.
Looking forward to the start and forget system with livebaits and should save the battery big time.

rehashing a very old post here- anyone have a fully adjustable on off timer solution to the live bait tank timers?
Ive found this online and as ive used this brand in automtoive solutions before am thinking it would be a decent quality option.

Was looking at doing something like this couple yrs back.. never got around to doing so other han a little leg walking passing by shops at the time.
RepCo (I think was Hella)  had a selection of windscreen timer delays.. 12v 24v and different amp ratings.. From memory, manual delay a few seconds out to  about 10/15 minutes.

 JayCar also had a module about 75W @ 12v(??)
Both around th $40 mark from memory.

They fit in the circuit between the wiper/ live bait tank switch and pump.

Also have a look at a wrecking yard, many cars  4x4 have delay timers modules in to the windscreen switch... like Isuzu

oh yeah never thought about the wiper switch type deals.

also found this on alie
https://www.aliexpress.com/item/Plastic-Programmable-Double-Time-Delay-Relay-ATDV-Y/32579850137.html?spm=2114.10010108.1000014.2.4b24ae2b5TN8vt&traffic_analysisId=recommend_3035_null_null_null&scm=1007.13338.80878.000000000000000&pvid=e17a3839-c002-4441-a489-d55dc3378311&tpp=1

they also come in varying scales of on/off settings- seconds/seconds- minutes/minutes- or in this ones case seconds on vs minutes off.

will give this one a go i reckon

Simple R C  Circuit with a Timer IC ...

Bread Board, about 6 wires , two resistors, and a capacitor ..

12V in / out and a S/W ........

You will need to do your own math, then just cover the thing in epoxy, or pit in a waterproof box ....
