Nice day out yesterday. Tons of skippies around, caught 10 then got a feed of tarakihi (30) pretty quick. I did some exploring for puka at a couple of deeper spots we got some nice gemfish at last week but no joy, just more tarakihi. A few rat makos around that destroyed some gear as well.

Great fishing as usual Reiver! Was over there just before Xmas, discovered that little fishing shop bottom of town on way to launching boats. Imports most of his gear from the States, good quality. Wot you think, does he do alright? Beer

Fishing and More I think is the shop you mean. He has been going a while so must be doing ok.  It is a bit awkward  to park there with the boat on the back for me so I normally go up the road to the Iceman.
