A couple of guys have created a fortnightly podcast where they interview spearos etc. from around the world. They are based in Australia and have a decent focus on our waters.
They've interviewed some great kiwi spearos with world records / NZ records, strong swimming backgrounds etc. and I've learnt a lot from the podcast series. The kiwis include the likes of Pat Swanson (twice NZ and world record snapper and general kiwi spearo legend) and Moss Burmester (Commonwealth 200m butterfly record holder and Olympian).
For some reason (I'm still trying to figure out why) my background dabbling in freediving, underwater rugby and spearfishing was of interest to the podcast team so I did an interview with them.
Have a listen if you like - but I suggest dipping into some of the others in the series.
