There is a basic bivvy away from the main hut.  If after venison I would head up there and focus on some open country from an elevated spot early mornings or evenings.  Last time I was up there a couple of years ago I got the impression the numbers of deer had been thinned out a fair bit.  If after trout as well as venison then the main hut will be the go.
