It’s been an amazing time of year when the kingfish start coming in close and actively feeding. And when the conditions are this good is just absolutely magic to watch every little twitch of the stickbait before it gets absolutely smashed. I got smashed on my carpenter which ended up dusting me but still an epic day out

Of course we had to return to have another shot as these wicked kingfish in close. The stickbaits were really happening and no follows so threw down a livebait and got smashed with 30 secs with a bit of carnage following. Ended up being an awesome day with a mixed bag of kingfish, John Dory, trevally, snapper and kahawai
