went to Whirinaki forest to catch good size rainbows on cicada flies.

Unfortunaltely, it was raining and blowing almost all day long, big cicada flies were not the best option.

Cicada flies plus pheasant tails were the killer for them. (70% of the fish were caught on pheasant tails)

Went mid-March a few years back and lost many on cicada pattern (got a good few, too)
