Squid in Tauranga

Hey everyone,

Anyone catching squid in Tauranga?
I have tried salsbury wharf and the wharf just of the track at the mount both on incoming tides at night. I had Head lamps for light and burly one of the nights, but no luck!!
Is an outgoing tide better maybe?
Are they not that far in the harbour?
