My one good reel is in need of a tear down + lube. I get the impression penn reels are not as sought after as they once were? when I purchased it a number of years ago it seemed you would barely consider anything else.
Typically I am good at pulling things apart and do everything myself (stripped apart and lubed a few old spinning reels the other night), have seen a few guides on the 320gt, but none on the 320ld. How hard is it really for someone that way inclined?, my other thought is considering I would have to buy a whole tubes of special lubricants when I only need a little it might not be worth it?
So what do you think, go for it = not that hard and can use any special lubricant needed on other reels or bite the bullet = I will probably stuff it up and should just get it done properly?
