Caught this flounder here in Perth last night........I was using a black magic 5/0 main hook and a 4/0 Gamakatsu octopus keeper hook with half a pillie on it....had felt a few tugs and then wound in......his mouth was wide open like a blown hapuka and full of pilchard.......the gammie was taken right down his mouth(the whole hook) and i struggled to pull it back out.........given its small gut and mouth......i was pretty surprised he could get that hook completely in his gob like that !
