Whats the clutch/gasket upgrade? Is it an antireverse roller bearing?

Not anti-reverse. The result of the upgrade is that the drag engages a bit slower and more precisely when applied through the lever.

It is a free upgrade offered by Composite Developments.

Cheers

The normal drag cam in the Metaloid is more like an on-off switch, it ramps very quickly which slightly defeats the purpose of being lever drag, as you effectively get 3 settings; off, on, heaps on.

The optional cam gives you a much more gradual ramp on the drag.

Also, if I hadn't just bought the 10-15kg model I would be all over this.

That's awesome, I had a metaloid previously and sold it because of that exact issue! The drag was so aggressive. Good to know there is a fix.

Thanks for the offer. It sounds like a great combo, but at this stage I am not looking to trade.

Cheers.
