Hi guys,

I live in Palmy and have just joined the Waikane fishing club.  I have heard that some people have managed to get Groper out the back of Kapiti some place, however I have been out two times looking for the area (in about 80-150m mark) and have only been able to find what seems to be flat sand! Cry

Due to work I don't make it down there very often, so it would be really appreciated if someone could help me out with some advice on where to look?

Please help Big smile

150m off the back of Kapiti. Mostly Terries but some puka.

Go on a fine day and look for the other boats out there.

Thanks for the info Dekay, greatly appreciated.  When I had a look last time I was down i only went to about 100m mark - so will try deeper.  I assume the Terries show up mid water as a ball, or are they on the bottom?

That would be great!  I went out again last week but had no luck.  mind you the fishing was very hard in general.  Terikihi were slow, and the King fish were no where to be seen.
