Lethal wrote: 3D, i am finding it hard to understand why our Government departments arn't selling these maps to the public, or at least to the <span style="line-height: 15.27272605896px; : rgb251, 251, 253;">Navionics</span> industry, they certainly have done the soundings, there is the odd site you can view them from not that i am going to put them up here, but you would think it cost an arm and a leg to do the mapping they would by now be trying to recoup some sort of return from it... these charts cover a lot of ground admittedly not supper close to shore as of yet, but they have every rock reef canyon that was never on a map before, 3D is certainly the way ahead even when just presented flat with shadows it has the potential to show way more than what we have now. here is section in the BOI norwest of the Brett some will notice it right off, but look at the detail and its still not fully zoomed in... |
