Hi guys. I'm in Waihi. I'm now boatless after 17 years and thinking of my next challenge/passion.
I would like to give Jetski Fishing a good Crack but obviously don't want to go buy one and find out its not my thing.
Does anyone around hire skis for fishing?
And if I can would someone be keen to spend a day imparting their wisdom?

Cheers

My knowledge of jet ski's is absolutely bugger all but I do know there is a place in Tauranga that hires them out. Set up for fishing or just a spin. They've got one on the back of a ute on Totara st as an advert. If I'm out that way I'll post their ph number up for you.

Hi NZ Critter. Sorry, but I have only just seen this post - I am doing almost all of my fishing on a jetski since I bought one just on 2 years ago. It is so much fun! Have a look at the following for jet ski hire: http://www.getwetjet.co.nz/ (the guy Kitno mentioned). But before you hire one, you can come out with me one day on the back if you like. The weather is looking pretty crap at the moment, but if you are still interested since Feb, I'm guessing another couple of weeks won't hurt. You can contact me on 027 548 0583.
