For those of you who may not know, Kurt shot himself.
Him and i first fished together over 20 years ago.
So sad, don't know why, we'll probably never know
RIP to a good buddy, Plonker.
Been crying all day

Back home from Aucks and Kurt's funeral.
Huge turn out for an infectiously cheerful and fun guy. Several got up to speak. Apart from being a fisherman, he was a highly rated clay pigeon shooter and deer hunter. I got up for a few unscripted works.
The unsolved question is why. No one knows. His wife is a nurse who travels to train medical staff on how to use diagnostic equipment and she was away for a few days...no note, no apparent issues of any description...no reason. But, of course, there was.
Guys, talk to someone, anyone if you feel down. Lots of people can give help. Telling nobody ever helps..
That Mrs Palmer lure is now officially mine and Plonker will still ride the waves.
