7.28 I think it was? Was a well run comp, very community based and was good to see heaps of people there. Weather was absolute rubbish, many fished within the Mahu Harbour. The surtees boat went to a chap for a 1.4kg snapper which was the average weight. There were three snapper weighed in at that weight, so super gutted for the two that missed out! Ouch! Ouch

We aborted the Little B mish and jumped in the dingys up the mahu, few pannies about but no prize winners arh.

Will defiantly be back next year!

No someone that was one of the others ,new he had weighed in earlier than the chap that won .Morale of the story the anouncer got the weight wrong and it was 1.2 kg I think ,and there were a few at that weight to.Pays to be in line early with a few hundred others in that low weight catergory when it blows .

Yeah I think the announced it wrong too, when he said the number of snapper weighed and the combined snapper weight i worked it out to be about 1.15- 1.2kg or something, then when they said 1.4kg I just thought I must have got the figures wrong...
