Shot from the weekend to show size of the Ducro light jigging reels.
Casted like a dream, smooth progressive drag used 2-5 kg range for inchikus, excellent free spool and it fits in your palm nice.

Fished the 15g Rock g that cast well, also dropped 70g inchikus and 120g jigs.

5.2:1 ratio was easy to get a crank on a fish and was a good speed for speed jigging as well.

Tested reel had 300m 10lb  braid on it. (will hold 300m 20lb braid)

Tested  a left hand model took three cast and five minutes got used to the LH, I am converted.

Fishing the  line between Tiri and Rakino, lots of big mackerel / bait schools, picked up the snaps dropping back inchikus, had to fish the lures with little movement as the fish were bitting very tentatively.

Cheers Greg

Got all of 300mtrs 20lb Suffix 832 on mine Greg, heading out on the 7th Nov to do some deepwater softbaits, then heading north to Houhora and a trip out with Memrory Makers on the 15th, 16th, 17th Nov to do a real tackle test on it. Free spool on the Ducro 10 reel is unreal with very good drag adjustments as you move the lever through its range...

I had the pleasure of using this little reel on some decent snapper today in a bit of a deepwater inchiku/softbait  fish off between two of the top Kiwi fishing magazines. I have stripped this reel and as a design engineer I can say it's well built and solid ...a whole lot of reel for the price, it's not a high output lever drag reel but that isn't it's function being an Inchiku specailist reel. It has great free spool for casting and a drag cam that works through out the whole setting range .
ClapWell done Greg for sourcing these reels I will be in to get several of these to kit out a range of our new Inchiku rods.
