Yeah nice. Got on top of some good anchovy schools the other daythat were being plagued by KY. They weren't all that fussy and ate clousers and other fare with reckless abandon (as long as the fly was moving fast enough) but I reckon your pattern would have got smashed.

The kahawai have been insanely difficult here, but the bait is extremely tiny. Rat kings much easier. They seem to eat a 6/0 fly even though they've been feeding on microbait.

Your KY must be too well fed. WinkWorkups down here are fast moving and widespread so maybe the KY are grabbing whatever they can while they can..

Looks very nice Thumbs Up You'll probably come back with most of them- except for those that get tasted by triggers Confused Total fly destroyers they are. Any milkfish patterns?

will be sorting out some milkfish flies next week....the trigger flies are tied with owner fly liner hooks #8.....bit more gruntier than the normal hooks

they have a few sizes at rod and reel but I got my smaller ones...#6 and #8 off ebay....just tying a few more before trip in early august...taking a 7wt...9wt...and 12wt rods....covering options for cxi
