Just courier it down. Probably only cost ya $20 and take the weights as carry on!.

Diving around here honestly is ave, whilst we get the kingi's now (which makes it good) it can be barren for other things. You pick up the odd Moki and Butter, cray etc but the best diving in terms of fish life is over Blenheim way.

Sunday - Great day out on the east side of D'urv...
Some exciting fish caught and a fairly big boy dug out of a hole at about 8m.  Tipped the scale at a shade under 6lbs.

Thanks to the guys who rolled out!

nope, having a wee break. already 3 dives in the last week, need more brownie points.

seems to be luck of the draw out in the bay in the evening. sometimes that seabreeze can die out but usually just makes for unpleasant diving.

nice cray!

Qaz, go find some weedlines and park your arse on the edge and flick up some sand.  Some Tarakihi might be floating around.

I went for a dive at the top of the chetwoods at the weekend, was amazing conditions the sea was like a lake,we were diving the northern point reef. Shot a couple of nice moki, saw some taraki but all too small, looked for crays but couldn't find any (I'm a newb) got some good size paua and caught some 45cm + blue cod  on a one of those shimano lucus slow jigs.

Sounds great but taking the gear down isn't going to be an option at this stage and I will not have time Cry

Got buzzed by massize school of tarikihi off the boulderbank last week..... Largest one would have had to have been like 50mm, it was epic..........

They loved it when I threw handfuls of sand up into the water column....
