went for a fish,nothing much as storm water has wrecked and washed up alot of odd stuff,saw a car in the water...... lots of dead calfs lying about,and i didnt see any fish but caught 2 little rainbows and thats about it,i should of fished the rangikaiti river or the flaxy lakes or something owell my time was loss,ur gain

dead calfs?? Give it a week or so then hit the river with a maggoty looking fly under a bluebottle dry and you will see how many trout made it through the flood!

A question. Anyone know if the road access up the Waimana, into the National park, is still being blocked?
